A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME

Agia Vassiliki Springs

They are located in the island’s center, just outside the village of Theologos. Start from Theologos and consult the locals for instructions. Arriving at the spot, you will see the old ruins of watermills and old charges intergraded in the natural landscape. A real journey through time!

EXPLORATION OF NATURE

Lake Maries

Just outside the village of Maries on the west side of the island and with easy access on foot or with the right vehicle lies the lake of Maries, one of the most beautiful natural attractions of the island. Decorated with waterfalls and scattered ponds, it predisposes you to an all-day exploration of nature with the comfort offered by the coolness of the trees.

A REMARKABLE SCENERY

Drakotripa

In Drakotripa, one of the most impressive caves on the island, one can admire stalactites and stalagmites formed throughout thousands of years, composing an elaborate and remarkable scenery. Folk tradition says that one of the cave’s many natural “sculptures” that looks like a dragon became the reason for the name Drakotrypa (Dragon Hole). To get there, you will need to walk 15 minutes from the village of Panagia – asking for the help of the locals is advised for easier access.
